Card Making Class, May 2nd

Card Making Class, May 2nd

Hello friends and welcome to this month’s card making class! For these cards I wanted to use the same stamps for each card but with 3 different ideas! I also wanted to make 3 birthday cards, 2 with unusual color palettes to get you inspired!

Check out how fun these cards are!!

For the first card, I wanted to create a monochromatic green card! I used these fun stamps (Botanical, Happy Birthday, and Little Birdie) all designed by me, Elli, and made by my husband, Taylor! I also used these 4 fun Green Ribbons, White Embossing Powder, and this white Uniball Gel Pen!

I am SO happy with how this card came together. I LOVE the bright green colors and all the fun textures!

Check out the Video Tutorial below:

For the next card, I wanted to use the same 3 stamps as the previous card! I also wanted to use this soft yellow ribbon, yellow watercolor splatter, silver watercolor splatter, silver Leaf Ribbon, and Detail White Embossing Powder

I am very happy with how this card came together and I LOVE this color palette of grey, yellow, and white together! I always reminds me of a Rainy Spring Day!

** This idea can easily be replicated using a different color of splatter paint and a different color ribbon **

** BEFORE YOU MAKE THE CARD ** Please think about which way you want to have your branch facing! In the Video Tutorial below you will see I created the design on the right, but if you want the design on left, you will need to adjust your botanical image accordingly!! **

For this last card I wanted to use the same 3 stamps as we used in the last 2 cards, along with this natural jute twine, this Uniball white gel pen, and this Detail Clear embossing powder.

I am SO HAPPY with this unusual color palette! I love the Kraft and White color palette! This natural look is so fun, and I love the pop of white!! The Detail Clear Embossing powder (Used with clear Versamark Ink) creates a fun tone-on-tone effect when heated with a heat gun.
