Art Clubs at Art and Happiness

All of our clubs are FREE to attend!

Heart Club

1st Sunday of Every Month

3pm - 5pm

Hosted by our very own Jae Oslo!

What is Heart Club? Oh, good question! It’s an art club every first Sunday of the month, simple as that! Bring your current project, or start something new! It’s also a place to talk about your creative process, your life as someone creating the world they want to live in, and how your heart is doing living in the world we live in now. Basically, it’s a big hug and a place to doodle!

We like to wear masks at Heart Club, because that’s how we keep each other from being sick. If you need one, Jae always has extras — just ask!

Can’t join in person? Don’t fret! Even if you can’t make it in to the shop, this is an invitation to create SOMETHING that YOU want to see in this world! A kind note, a weird creature, a sewn sock.

Cheers to making art with your heart!

Artist Trading CArd Club

3rd Sunday of Every Month

2pm - 3pm

Hosted by Helena Chaikin!

Bring or create some Artist Trading Cards to swap with other artists! What is an Artist Trading Card? Thanks for asking! An Artist Trading Card, aka ATC, is a 2.5in x 3.5in card decorated with WHATEVER YOU WANT!

  • Draw a doodle

  • Make a tiny painting

  • Collage a fun little scene

  • Share some words that inspire you

Whatever feels right!

If you need some inspiration, you can bring your supplies with you to ATC Club and make some while you’re here! Bringing (or making) 5-10 cards gives you the most opportunity for swapping with the most artists. You’ll take home as many as you bring! It’s a wonderful opportunity to meet other creative humans and discover new art.

We can’t wait to see you!

Art Journaling Club

2nd Saturday of Every Month

2pm - 4pm

Hosted by Cheryl Ford!

Art journaling, junk journaling, collage journaling — no matter what you call it, it’s a whimsical way to repurpose materials and practice tactile art!

You’ll want to bring with you:

  • A blank notebook

  • Ephemera / collage materials

  • Glue

  • Glue stick

  • Scissors

  • Bone folder

  • Pen/pencil

  • A spark of creativity!

If you don’t have the above materials, you can buy them at Art and Happiness. All except that last one — that’s something only YOU can provide!

Cheryl has been Art Journaling for a long time, and she is absolutely tickled to share the tips and tricks she’s learned through the years.

We can’t wait to see what you create!
