Happy day, friends!! Hope you’re hungry!
This week we’re making Bacon and Eggs, and Toast served on a CARD!
Follow along and make some breakfast with us~
First we’ll make a little table cloth for our food to rest on! Just a bit of vellum will do the trick!
Of course we love a pun, this statement says “I hope your day is EGG-STRA SPECIAL!”
That yolk cracks me up!!
Do you like Bacon? We’ll cook up a few strips!
Cut out two big strips and two tiny strips for the inside of the card!
We’ll brown up the strips with some ‘Walnut Stain’ by Distress Ink. Do you like your bacon extra crispy?
Cut up some red slivers of paper to add meaty texture to your bacon too! Yum!
Time to Toast!!
We’ll take some kraft tone paper and make two slices!
Use some brown suede paper to make some crust!! I like a lot of crust on my toast, do you like your toast with the crust cut off?
Add some dots to your bread to give it some texture too!
Now for the best part— EGGS!!
Trace and cut out a squiggly egg shape! Pop out two circles- orange and yellow- and layer them to make the yolk!
Do you like your eggs sunnyside up or fried?
You could brown your eggs with the walnut stain if you like them crispy!
Let’s make our plate!
This is a lot of food for a little card, so do try to fit all of that on there! Add some butter to your toast if you’d like!
Use a white pen to add some highlights, too!
Make some tiny snacks for the inside too, that little bacon and a mini egg!
What a tasty treat you’ve created!! This is bound to put a smile on a friends face!
