Do you love pie?? We sure do!!
Let’s make a Blueberry Pie Card!

Have you ever made Blueberry Pie? It’s SO tasty!
We don’t have an oven here at Art and Happiness so let’s make our pie out of paper!!
We’ll gather everything we’ll need to make a tasty card full of joy!
Of course we have to start by making the pie first!
Using a die-cut we created this scalloped edge circle that’s perfect for a pie crust!
A bit of Distress Ink ‘Walnut Stain’ will make it look perfectly toasted!
I especially like to brown the edges because the edges of my pies always get extra crispy!
Now let’s make the lattice for the top of our pie!
To make a woven pattern, start by gluing 5 strips to one side of your pie, then crossing horizontal strips in a over-under-over pattern!
After 5 strips of this weaving you’ll have a finished pie top! Glue under all the strips and trim off the excess!!
Now, paste it on top of the bottom crust we made!!
Cut yourself a slice for a pie well made!
Time to decorate the card!!
Paste the inner cardstock inside and add a layering piece of blueberries, our sentiment “Pie like you Berry much” will sit in the center of it!
Want to add a ribbon? Let’s do something new!
Take an exacto knife and cut about a half inch slot where you’d like your ribbon to go. I’m putting a strip of blue plaid right where my ribbon will go.
We’ll fish the ribbon through that and it will create a seamless strip for the front of the card!
Tie it into a little bow if you’d like!
Time to add the pie!!
If you haven’t eaten your slice, why not include it on the inside for your friend to enjoy!
Doodle dots and sparkle marks in white pen for an extra touch of whimsy!
And if you’re feeling Berry creative, fussy cut some run-away blueberries too!
Yay!!! What a delicious card we made today!!
This makes me want to go make a real pie!!
