Card Making Class, September 20th

Hello friends and welcome to this week’s card class! This week I wanted to make a couple cards that could be Holiday Cards as well as a fun Halloween Style card!! Check out how fun these cards are!

For the first card I was inspired to make a tone-on-tone white card! I used this Birch Tree die-cut, this tiny snowflake set, and this sweet sentiment set all from Taylored Expressions. I also used this amazing gate from this Halloween die-cut set from Tim Holtz and this white mesh ribbon.

Check out how fun and wintery this card is! I love the white-on-white element. The yellow-toned ink pad I used was perfect with the Ice Gold metallic paper that has a gold tone. I am LOVING how it turned out!!

For the second card, I wanted to make this Halloween Inspired card featuring this amazing Raven, Creepy Label, Branch and Moon all from this Halloween die-cut set from Tim Holtz. I also used the Cloud Stencil and this gold mesh ribbon!

I am SO HAPPY with this card! I used the Distress Oxide Black Soot ink and the cloud stencil on the Vellum to create this creepy scene! I splattered it with the gold metallic watercolor set to make the magical stars

For the last card I wanted to make a fun Pacific Northwest inspired card that could ALSO be a holiday card! I used this fun Tree Ribbon, this green polka dot paper, this plaid paper, and this sweater-patterned paper from Lawn Fawn. I also used a bit of this green twine

Check out how fun this card is! I used this dark green suede paper on the far side of the card and re-created the plaid element with strips of white paper! I love the different patterns. This card could be a holiday card or a masculine card for any time of year!
